SAVVY CAREGIVER IN SPANISH

How it Works

Savvy Caregiver in Spanish is a translation of the original 2012 Caregiver’s Manual into Spanish. As with the Savvy Foundational program, Savvy Caregiver in Spanish is designed to benefit someone providing care for an individual living with memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer’s disease but who is not proficient in English.

Note: The Savvy Caregiver in Spanish Caregiver’s Manual is based on the 2012 edition. Therefore, it is not currently aligned with the most current revision of the English version. We hope a future translation of the 2022 revised edition and all related materials will be available in the near future. This Spanish version of the 2012 manual is being made available now as a resource for those group leaders who want to provide it to better serve Spanish-speaking caregivers.

Savvy Caregiver® in Spanish was originally translated by the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center in Winter Park, FL. Further review and editing by a professional translation firm was conducted for accuracy. A “universal” Spanish dialect was utilized.
