Savvy Caregiver® Group Leader Fidelity Recertification Exam

The recertification exam consists of 15 narrative questions, you will be asked to write two to three paragraphs on each question. The intent with recertification is for you to demonstrate knowledge and reflections from actually leading the Savvy Caregiver program over the past three years.

• You may use your Savvy manuals, any notes, and any resources while completing these narrative questions.
• Your responses do not need to be perfect, grammatically, so focus instead on the content of your responses.
• You can come back to the exam as many times as you wish until you complete it, all responses will be automatically saved by the system.
• Responses to the open ended questions responses should demonstrate a deep understanding of the Savvy concepts, curriculum/exercises, and psycho-educational training, and offer a rich description of how you deliver and assess participants’ learning via specific exercises.
• Simple lists of objectives taken from the manual are not sufficient. We are looking to hear a thoughtful integration of Savvy content and approach, as well as best practices for program delivery and group management and training.

Reminder!

To maintain your certification, you should lead at minimum 1 Savvy Caregiver workshop each year.
